Getting access
Who is Tally for?
Tally is being built for Canadian small businesses and owner-operators, with organized records for their bookkeepers and advisors.
How does early access work?
Join the waitlist. We’ll contact you as onboarding opens and explain the capabilities available for your workspace.
What does it cost?
Joining the waitlist does not create a paid subscription. Pricing and access terms will be shared during onboarding.
Financial work
What documents can I bring?
Supported workflows include receipts, supplier invoices, income documents and commission statements. Recognition of a document does not mean every document type has a completed processing workflow.
Does Tally replace my accounting software?
Tally prepares, reviews and explains financial records. It is not currently a complete replacement for every accounting system.
Does every action need my approval?
Financial records have review and posting controls. Connected actions follow workspace approval policies; some permitted actions may be automatically authorized.
Can Tally collect payments or issue cards?
The early-access focus is financial records and connected work, including information about payments. Built-in payment collection, cards and accounts are separate roadmap initiatives.
Tax and connections
Does Tally file taxes?
No. Tally organizes supporting records and provides supported Canadian GST/HST summaries and limited estimates. It does not file returns.
Which tax estimates are supported?
Current estimates focus on supported Canadian workflows. Income-tax estimates have limitations and exclude credits, deductions and other special situations. US tax calculations are not available.
Does connecting a tool synchronize everything?
No. Each connection supports particular operations and requires the appropriate access. The Connections page explains the scope.
